DESCRIPTION
An esthetic tooth colored restoration selected to match and restore your tooth back to function.
GENERAL DENTISTRY
An esthetic tooth colored restoration selected to match and restore your tooth back to function.
Bacterial infestation resulting in cavitation of the enamel (decay).
Composite restoration, Amalgam Restoration.
Unlike fillings, these are full coverage restorations that are recommended in cases of fractured teeth, little remaining tooth structure as to prevent further breakdown.
Cavity has compromised integrity of tooth, tooth is fractured, excessive bite forces on posterior teeth.
All metal, porcelain fused to metal, all ceramics (eg. Porcelain, e-max, zirconia…)
Process of removal of intra-canular debris (nerve, infected tissue, and/or draining pus) followed by isolation of tooth with biological compatible material.
Nerve chamber has been compromised or nerve is on the frits and must be removed. Peri-apical infection.
Remove the nerve, tissues, debris, and/or bacteria. Fill with Gutta percha or resin based fill.
Regular cleaning relates to removal of plaque/calculus from an otherwise healthy tooth, above or at gum level.
Deep cleaning is when the tooth and supporting bone and gum foundation has deteriorated to where you have to scale below the gums and onto the root surface.
The supporting periodontium (bone, tissue/gums and NOT tooth) that allow for a healthy environment and support for the teeth has experience mild, moderate, to severe bone loss.
There are many possibilities of tooth pain, some of which are; cavity based, abnormal biting relationships causing tooth flexure/breakage, sensitivity as a result of recession or any lost of outer enamel. Unfortunately referred pain or phantom tooth pain complicates diagnosis.
Nerve fibers are stimulated because tooth is experiencing an episode due to one of factors previously mentioned.
Exact treatment depends on diagnosis of issue of which issue is underlying cause.
Preferably a hard acrylic based material used to prevent hyperactive neuro musculature from wearing or fracturing teeth
Grinding, Bruxism
Hard (preferred), hard/soft acrylic oral appliance fabricated by taking models and an intricate bite registration.
The surgical or non-surgical removal of hopeless or un-restorable teeth.
For a number of reasons, teeth are no longer viable and must be removed.
Surgical intervention to remove tooth and/or infected area creating best possible environment for the body to heal.
Partial or Full dentures are treatment options that attempt to give back to patient areas where they are missing teeth. Full/Complete dentures are tissue supported whereas partials may utilize existing teeth as additional anchorage.
Missing teeth (edentulous areas).
Assess viability of existing teeth if any, take impressions, then design dentures based on existing mouth dimensions, functions, and esthetics.
COSMETIC DENTISTRY
This procedure is typically done on front (anterior) teeth to hide or improve discolored, chipped teeth.
Chipped tooth, discolored tooth, patient wants to change the shape and esthetics of their smile
Prepare tooth surface and bond desired composite based material to surface
A ceramic based material (again either porcelain, lithium disilicate, zirconia…) that is much stronger than simple bonded fillings to anterior or posterior teeth. A stronger and more natural look than bonded fillings.
Chipped tooth, discolored tooth, patient wants to change the shape and esthetics of their smile
Tooth is prepped as there is a minimum thickness required for fabrication and adds strength of material. Specially bonded.
The process of removing the external staining from the tooth surface with approved dental biocompatible materials.
Dark, stained teeth.
Bleach with Carbimide, Hydrogen peroxide based systems that vary in percentage of active ingredients. Take home or In-Office
The closest thing to having your natural tooth, it is essentially an advanced designed titanium IV material (conical screw shaped) bonded with your bone over a period of months. High rate of success over 10 year period once bonded with bone, but like anything in your mouth requires maintenance.
Missing teeth
Depending on bone width and height, and just as important keratinized tissue. A proper implant size is surgically placed and bonded with your bone.
This process may be accomplished through orthopedic and orthodontic appliances. The first step considered should be the Orthopedic process relates to the structuring of bone such as arch development. Orthodontic process is secondary and relates to the moving of the teeth into that developed arch form. In all treatment, age and development consideration must be taken into account.
MAJOR/ADVANCED DENTISTRY
Also referred as Hybrid dentures, implants are utilized as additional anchorage to further support and give patient further comfort during chewing.

Wonderful for folks who want a Fixed option and do NOT want to wear removable dentures. These can either be cemented or screw retained and are implant supported.
Advanced treatment planning option whereby you can walk into the office and walk out with a whole full mouth reconstruction on the same day. Please note that the process may take one day, but the advance restorative treatment planning takes a lot longer.
The process of placing a bone biocompatible material that your body will integrate with and make apart of your natural bone. This is a recommended treatment for all patients wanting to do implants.
Your mouth, teeth, bone and muscles are in a constant state of dynamic change. Thus overtime we experience tooth lost, bite changes and or collapse of the bite. The diagnosis and understanding of where to place the jaw, muscles, and teeth are critical in essence rebuilding a person to a more normalized comfortable bite.
This has to do more with your joints then your teeth. Let me just summarize this by saying that your lower jaw is the only thing that moves. It is held in place by your joint, tendons, and muscles that move the lower jaw in relation to the upper. The result of your jaw being out of alignment or stressed during function results in pain, which unfortunately is another scenario where people may interpret as tooth pain.
These are mandibular advancement appliances or orthotics to place the jaw in a better position to allow the patient a better sleep experience. The consideration that is most important is to maximize airflow for the patient. Restful sleep recommended, your unbroken R.E.M. cycle, should be 6 hours to allow the brain and person to feel relaxed and tackle the next day.
